7th Grade! Writing Trait - IDEAS (review)

The "six traits of writing" are six different areas of writing that we can focus on as we revise and discuss any writing that we do! You need to be familiar with these different traits so that you can check over and improve your own writing, and to understand the feedback given to you by teachers. These "traits" will be the different categories that are used to grade most of your writing in middle school.

7th Grade Review:

Please click on the link below to review the slide show for the first trait, ideas. You will then make a foldable with 3 sections labeled  "IDEAS" "ORGANIZATION" and "WORD CHOICE." (You can get paper for your foldable on the back counter in the white plastic drawers.)

Today you will be filling in only the "IDEAS" section.

Directions for notes: Click on the link below and read the whole slide show for "IDEAS." Then, on your foldable, write down the "REMINDERS" from the last page of the slide show onto your "IDEAS" flap of your foldable.

Put your heading on the back of your foldable, and turn it in to your class inbox to continue on Monday.

Thoughts don't bode well in the event that they aren't masterminded somehow or another. Something needs to start things out, something needs to go last, and a few things typically end up in the center, consistently, in an intelligent arrangement.
