ACSI Art Festival

ACSI Art Festival

Pieces of art from our very own school have been brought to the ACSI Art Festival! Ten people in all, from 5th to 8th, have shown their creativity using methods and materials such as photography, colored pencils, acrylic paints, watercolors, and markers to create beautiful works of art. The theme for this year’s competition was, “Joy.” Some of the topics being depicted are pointe shoes, a sunset, a cat, and a fox. The pieces were brought to Linfield Christian School in Temecula, California, by Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Palm on February 25. They were judged by some teachers from other schools, and though she didn’t do the project from our school, Mrs. Matis helped too. This was all done on March 5th, and all of the awards have been given out to the great artists. All of the VCS participants got either an Excellent or Superior award. Congratulations to all the participants!
