Field Trips

Field Trips

On March 8 the 4th, 5th and 6th graders are going on a field trip to The Heritage Center at Calvin Christian 200 N. Broadway Escondido, CA 92026. There they saw Tuck Everlasting a play performed by Christian Youth Theater San Diego. They will leave at 9:15 and the play is at 10:00. That same very day, the 1st and 2nd graders  went  to  the Star Theater 402 N. Coast Hwy Oceanside, CA 92054. There they saw Junie B Jones. Now here is what the second graders thought about the play. “ It was really funny” said second grader Peyton Stoniea and Gisele reyes also thought it was funny. Now I asked them who their favorite character was. “I liked Junie. B. Jones because she was funny” said Lily Jacobsen. “ Sheldon” agreed Emma Adams and Eli Afonso. “Mr.Scary” said Gavin Girves. “ Lucille” said Shayla Glavnic. “Mrs.Gutsman” said Gutsman. Here was what the 4th, 5th and 6th graders said about their favorite characters. “The Toad” says sixth graders Lily Campbell and David Castillon. “In between Winnie and Mae Tuck” says fifth grader Justine Panis.  “Um, the grandma because she called the yellow guy a banana” said sixth grader Tyler Munoz. “Huh, let’s see probably Winnie” said fifth grader Taylor Cocores. So mostly everyone liked their field trips.
