Grace's verse reflection
2 Corinthians 8:7 is an encouragement to students, teachers, and people everywhere to try their hardest and do their best to succeed in everything they do. As it is written in this verse, Paul says we must excel in everything we do. In my opinion, excelling means to get better at something, not only that, but to also try your hardest in everything. Another point Paul brings up, is to excel in grace, faith, speech, knowledge, and devotion. Devotion means strong love and loyalty to God, knowledge is the information you get from experience, and grace means the help or kindness God gives or shows to people. Faith is another word that not only means trust, but also means service to God, carrying out God's plans for us. Although 2 Corinthians may have been written a long time ago to the church in Corinth, it applies to us in telling us to succeed in everything we do.
