Language Arts Homework Reminders - 6th, 7th, 8th

All Grade Levels - 6th/7th/8th

Vocabulary homework is due EVERY Friday! Two items from your grade level Vocabulary Menu, labeled as shown on the menu. Every other Friday there will be a quiz on the definitions of the words. (Vocabulary Menus should be kept in your KEEP ALL YEAR sheet protector, and can be found on the "Vocabulary" blog on this web page.)

Independent Reading
All students should have an approved (by parent and Mrs. Hull) silent reading book that should be read at least four nights a week, for at least 15 minutes per night, and for the first 10 minutes of study hall on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Book Project #4 (Finished book, project, and typed reflection, ready to be presented) is due on May 29th!

(Book Project Menus should be kept in your KEEP ALL YEAR sheet protector, and can be found on the "Independent Reading" blog on this web page.)

Book Project 4

For our 4th Book Project this year, you will pick any book that interests you, fiction or non-fiction, around your reading level. Take notes on the key details or the parts of fiction, depending on your book. You will then use either the "FICTION" or "NON-FICTION book project reflection directions" to type up the reflection for this project, depending on the book you chose. Use the "Independent Reading blog" on the Mrs. Hull Web page to find the papers related to this project.

For this project, you may pick any project on your grade level book project menu. The book project and reflection will be due in late May or early June, depending on school events at that time. This project may be shown in a literature faire at the end of the school year.
