Katelynn's verse reflection

Katelynn's verse reflection

2 Corinthians 8:7, is a great verse to focus on this year, because it reminds you to not just do the work but give that extra little effort to excel in it, and have faith that you can do what you need to do. In the verse 2 Corinthians 8:7, Paul states "Now as you excel in everything-in faith..." This is expressing that God doesn't want us to just excel in certain things or just give an average amount of effort. He wants us to excel in everything that we do, so that we live our life to the fullest in him and in ourselves. When we excel we learn what we can do and God wants us to use our gifts that we discovered for him, and in our purpose in life. Also in 2 Corinthians 8:7, Paul states "...as you excel in everything-in faith..." This is saying that when you excel in things, you want to have faith in what you are trying to excel at. Having faith in yourself and God, helps you have more confidence which allows you to excel and reach your goals. As a result, 2 Corinthians 8:7 is a great verse, because it explains the guidelines of how we as humans should live our life to the fullest, and also live with God in our heart, mind, and soul.
