Washington D.C Trip
The Washington D.C. trip is an opportunity for 7th & 8th grade students to learn more about America’s historical past. This trip has been done by our school for many years, taking place every other year. The students that go on this trip learn many things, and enjoy themselves. For example, many of the students that went in February said that they greatly enjoyed the Holocaust Museum. But that isn’t the only place they went. Some other places they toured were Jamestown and Williamsburg, where actors would dress up as people from the 1700-1800 hundreds. This gives students the ability to see what our American past was like first hand. “I also loved the bus ride. Everyone was able to just have fun and be great friends,” said Sara Castillon, one of the 7th grade students. This trip is a great opportunity for students to bond and build friendships while learning about America’s past. The D.C. trip is an incredible adventure, when students can see their history book come to life.
