2019 Tuition Fees

Prospective families may begin registering for 2019/2020 beginning February 1, 2019. It is important to note that our class sizes are limited due to our desire to provide the highest quality educational experience for our students. 

Families interested in learning more about our kindergarten program or enrollment for the 2019/2020 school year should call the office for more details or set up a tour. 

Please note: students entering kindergarten must turn 5 by October 1, 2019.

Valley Christian School admits students of any race, nationality, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its education policies, extracurricular activities, and other school-administered programs. VCS reserves the right to select students on the basis of academic performance, Christian commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with the administration and school policies.

RE-ENROLLMENT for current students

Enrollment at VCS during one school year does not guarantee enrollment for the following year.

When evaluating students for re-enrollment, the principal uses criteria based on:

  1. The student’s academic progress and behavior
  2. Parental record for payment of fees and tuition
  3. Openness to spiritual instruction
  4. Adherence to school policies
  5. Parental support of teachers, school policies, and administrative decisions

If there are areas of concern, the principal will meet with the family to discuss the student’s re-enrollment.

Enrollment Process for new students

It is important that parents and potential students visit the campus prior to acceptance into Valley Christian School in order to meet the principal and visit the classroom. Upon completing the tour, parents will need to:

  • Complete the registration packet
  • Submit the packet to the principal for approval
  • Pay the non-refundable registration fee
Students transferring from other schools will take a placement test to help teachers gauge academic achievement. Upon admission to VCS there is a 30-day probationary period for all new students, which will conclude with a mandatory parent/teacher conference in October.


Please be aware of changes to the immunization policies in the state of California. Senate Bill 277 requires all students attending public or private school to be immunized. The personal belief waiver is no longer available to families. If you currently have a personal belief waiver on file in your student's cumulative record, it will remain in effect until the next grade span, which would be 7th grade. Exemptions will only be made for medical reasons, such as family history or prior existing conditions. A licensed physician must complete a medical waiver. All new students entering Valley Christian School must present a current immunization record, with all immunizations showing the month, day, and year administered. All kindergarten students are required to have a complete physical examination before starting school. To meet California State Requirements for school entry, the examinations should be given within six months of starting school. Seventh graders need a Tdap booster before the start of the school year.

New Student Referral Incentive Program

The single most effective way of attracting new students to VCS is through referrals from satisfied families. We are excited to offer families of currently enrolled students an opportunity to earn a small credit when we gain families based on their recommendation. 

The purpose of a referral program:

  • To increase enrollment by rewarding those who help identify families who might be a good fit at VCS
  • To reach community members who might not otherwise be aware of our school


  • The referring person's name must be listed by the registrant on the Registration Form in answer to "Name of the person or family who referred you."
  • The new family must fully complete the enrollment process, pay the required registration fee, and be accepted by the administration.
  • The registering family must be new to VCS and without other siblings currently enrolled.
  • Credit is only valid for the first year the new the new family enrolls in our school.
  • The referring family must have at least one student enrolled at VCS for whom they pay tuition. 

Referring families will receive a $100 credit applied to their June billing statement. There is no limit to the number of families a VCS family may refer.
